Mediation Arbitration & Dissolution Of Islamic divorce (TALAQ)
Since its establishment in 2016, one of the key services provided by UIDV has been mediation and arbitration. Muslim families and individuals approach UIDV daily to seek guidance and resolution for various types of disputes. Over the years, Islamic Family Tribunal of Australia (ABN 91923823961) has become one of the organisation’s core services.
In response to the growing demand, UIDV established a dedicated committee of qualified Imams known as the Islamic Family Tribunal of Australia . This panel has since played an active and respected role in resolving conflicts within the Muslim community, benefiting hundreds of families and couples.
As an Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) service, the decisions and judgements of the Islamic Family Arbitration and Mediation Panel have been well received by clients and recognised by courts both in Australia and overseas.
UIDV deals exclusively with Islamic marriage and divorce matters. While we do not have the legal authority to address child custody or property issues, we can refer clients to appropriate services such as Relationship Centres.
Our Mediation and Arbitration Services complement Australia’s civil law framework and align with the country’s ADR structure.
